Make sure that before you import the model, make sure the toolbar is like this:\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cimg alt=\"user posted image\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/img824.imageshack.us\/img824\/5012\/toolbard.png\" \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ENow you probably have a ped you want to rig, so we'll carry on to the next step.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ENow  that you have extracted and imported Player.dff into 3dsmax, move it to  the right\/left away from the position that it was imported in.\u003Cbr \/\u003ENow import your model you want to rig to GTA3, for me, it's bmydj from SA.\u003Cbr \/\u003ERotate the model + skeleton 90 degrees to the right, like this:\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cimg alt=\"user posted image\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/img69.imageshack.us\/img69\/3544\/rotate90right.png\" \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ESo now it should be facing the same way as claude's player model, after done, it should look like this.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cimg alt=\"user posted image\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/img692.imageshack.us\/img692\/7003\/samerotationm.png\" \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E------------------------------------------\u003Cbr \/\u003ENow, select all of your peds skeleton, use ALT to de-select the model, and Delete the skeleton by pressing \"DEL\"\u003Cbr \/\u003ESo it will be like this:\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cimg alt=\"user posted image\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/img814.imageshack.us\/img814\/9735\/noskeleton.png\" \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EGo  to the toolbar; should be in the near top right corner.
